TAPS runners honor fallen at local race

For a special group of runners participating in the Five Trails Half Marathon and 10k on Sunday, every step was laced with memories and honored those who paid the ultimate price in service to country.

Bastian Baker, born in Lausanne on 20 May 1991, is an example of the rich and diverse Swiss music scene. Songwriter, composer and performer, he has a strong inclination for “songs you can play around a fire with your friends on a summer’s evening”. Like Justin Nozuka or Jack Johnson, he excels in catchy pop-folk ballads with stirring refrains that carry us into his own world, where the carefree and the serious live side by side.
